Angela Burns: Taking on the World
Angela Burns has been performing for as long as she can remember. At the age of thirteen, Angela chose to head steadfast towards her future in film acting.
She dragged her mother to film mixers, acting classes, and anything else that would educate her on what it took to be a professional actress. At fifteen, she wrote herself a $1,500 grant to take her first business trip to Los Angeles. I am truly excited about supporting a project initiated by my good friends Mike and Mary Thrasher.
"BOOKS ARE THE BEGINNING" is a non profit outreach introducing the gift of reading to Third World nations.
Since 2006, Mike and Mary have sacrificed countless hours on several journeys to Africa, delivering thousands of books, learning materials, and medical supplies to improve the lives of impoverished children in desperate need of education.
